LO has been in a Montessori program since she was 18 months, and she will be 3 on Friday. We've been happy with the school thus far. She is about to change rooms and go to the primary class which has ages 3-6, so that will be a new challenge for her.
She used to attend a traditional daycare from ages 3 months - 18 months, but the management of the daycare started to have some serious issues so we moved her.

I wah about 20 hours per week. baby is home with me full time, and the toddler goes to daycare/preschool 2 days per week from 7-12:30.

My boys are in first grade and my daughter is in preschool. There are two days when I work late and my dad picks up my daughter for a few hours until I get off.

They are both in daycare full time. DD1 is in the preschool room.

We have a nanny for 30 hours a week. I work those 3 days. She watched the baby and does preschool drop off or pickup for my 3.5 year old and watches him too when he gets out of school at 3. DS1 is in a Reggio Emilio preschool but he will be switching to Montessori after we move towns next month.

I sah 6 days a week so dh watches them on weekends when I work and my mom watches them if my one day falls on a weekday.

in-home daycare. It's alright. I'll be happy once he starts school.
We have not had good experiences with childcare. We do really love his in-home, but I've had to learn to be less picky and just let him go where he's happy and well-taken care of.. So I ignore things that otherwise would have bothered me.

@winniebee: she takes a 2 hour nap and then I can do another 2 hours while she plays (helping on and off...sometimes I do take her to the gym childcare and I work there for a while so she can play) and then 2 hours during nap 2. then about 2-3 hours every other weekday. it's kinda nuts but I'm lucky that she's really easygoing right now. I'm sure now that I said it it won't last

My 8 month old is with grandparents 2x weekly and a small in home daycare 2x, and I stay home 1 day.
My 3 year old is in full time preschool every day.

I voted both SAH & WAH. I work about 5-10 hours per week during naps and after she goes to bed. She is just turned 2. She will go to preschool 2 or 3 half days per week next fall when she is almost 3.
Before I SAH, I worked more like 30ish hours per week and LO went to daycare 2 days per week and Grandma care 2 days per week. Although then my mom was injured and LO had to go to 2 different daycares a total of 4 days a week... oy vey.
@Bubbles: What kind of work do you do? I rarely find other WAHMs that just work a few hours per week like myself.

I work 3 days a week during which DS has grandma care and DH and I are home the other two days (DH technically works from home a few days a week but he's still around to help when I need a set of hands). Starting in January DS will go to an in-home place until he turns 2 in September and then he will go to a 2's program at a local church preschool.

@daniellemybelle: I do graphic design and a bit of writing for just a few clients who know I need long deadlines! And you? To be honest I thought I would have stopped by now especially with #2 on the way, but it's hard to turn down that extra bit of money when I can manage to fit it in!

DD (3 yrs) is in PT preschool and with a nanny the rest of the time. DS (3.5 months) will be full-time with our nanny when I go back to work next week
