I'm really liking "Bright" by Echosmith. It's kind of different and upbeat!
Anything by Fall Out Boy makes me annoyed. Specifically, "Centuries". They sound horrible. Like nails on a chalkboard.

I'm obsessed with Shut Up and Dance right now! It gets my LOs bouncing and dancing too. I don't listen to the radio enough to know any annoying songs. We mostly Pandora and I just skip ahead if I don't like it. I don't really like like that kid Sam Smith. Am I the only one?

Hating: Anything Meghan Trainor. Insta channel change. I am SO SICK of All About That Bass, and I think her voice is really annoying. Im with you on Fall Out Boy too. Their new stuff sucks balls.
Loving: My guilty pleasure right now is the song "Earned It" from the 50 Shades soundtrack... I heard it on Pandora and holy hell is that song hot.

Hate Meghan Trainer songs. My 2 year old was singing along to All about that bass! Ugh! I'm also really sick of Take me to Church and don't like Fall out Boy -
I am the minority on Uptown Funk apparently! Haha. I'm not sure why it irritates me so much, I don't like much from his most recent album. But I can see how it's a good dance party song with kiddos.

Hate - Habits. I feel so old saying this, but I find it so inappropriate that kids are listening to/singing along to songs about need to be high to deal with a breakup. NO. -

We love Uptown Funk! My DD says "Uptown funk you up" means to pour water on someone...okaaaaay. I also can't help loving anything Taylor Swift (go ahead and judge), and I love Sugar, too (we change the word "sugar" to DD #2's name for the chorus, which ends up going something like, "DD2, you're sweet, ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba").
Not a fan of Take Me to Church or the new Meghan Trainor song.

I cannot believe that Fallout Boy is still around and getting air play. I know pop music is a business-driven vs. talent driven environment but good God, FOB is almost as bad as Nickelback.
I really like Uptown Funk (Mark Ronson can just about do no wrong, though) and I’ll admit to digging basically all the new Taylor Swift stuff. 1989 is a pretty solid album, which isn’t something I thought I would ever say about TS!
I hate Sugar, but I also generally hate all Maroon 5.

I'm going to be the exception here--I love Fall Out Boy. I've really liked them since middle school and no, their newer stuff isn't anywhere near as good as their older stuff but I still like it. I think Centuries is fun (though there's not really any really amazing quotable lyrics like in their earlier stuff--I still listen to Infinity on High if I want really good FOB, and their best stuff was never on the radio).
Not a big Megan Trainor fan. I'll change the station if it's that, any Maroon 5 other than Animal (especially Sugar), anything Rihanna, anything Ariana Grande, Sam Smith (all his songs sound the same to me). Other than those artists I'm pretty neutral about most pop music--though I mostly prefer the alternative station around here. That's where I first heard Take Me to Church and Shut Up and Dance. I like them both but I've heard them so many times for so many consecutive months now that I'm starting to get sick of them and I'll change the station when they're on. I varigate between country, the alternative station, the regular pop station and the Christian station so I don't get too sick of any one thing. I think all stations are guilty of playing the same 10-15 songs on repeat a lot and that gets really old really fast!
@Mae: I can't stand God Made Girls except for when I sing it loudly and off-key on purpose and change the words to "God made squirrels". LO (15 months) thinks it's hilarious.
