I've been listening to NPR and the news stations recently when I'm in the car alone. I find it is a quick way to catch up on the news I don't get during the day normally and I have something other than my workday to talk about.

And there was another...I forget its name since we didn't renew this spring...it was something about quiet..it was like calming jazz? I used it to put LO to sleep when he was colicky and driving around the neighborhood was the only way he'd sleep...at 3am:) -
I usually listen to news in the morning and will flip between music channels on the way home. Usually alt nation, coffeehouse, or classic vinyl. Oddly last night I used my voice command to change it to "36" but it understood me as "radio sex". I didn't even know that existed...I paused on it for a minute because I was shocked at how raunchy it was. Note to self...avoid Channel 102 (if I remember right).

@SLR: ha that reminds me of when I was just barely pregnant we went out with friends dancing at a bar. I was obviously the DD and we drove another couple. My DH was trying to find something on and we didn't know we had sex channels so he left it there and we all listened to it and made fun of it the whole way home. I was like Uhmm people actually listen to this in their car... Haha

I like X2 hits 1 but I like listening to pop music. I also like Alt nation. It was in my car when we bought it as a trial but it never turned off.
