I just had sushi for lunch with a friend! I had soba, spicy tuna roll, and uni. My favorite sushi is uni (sea urchin). I'm kind of obsessed with it.
What's your favorite sushi?

I'm a big fan of Halibut but they don't have it so much in the south since it's such a cold water fish. I always get it when I'm up north. I love a roll with shrimp tempura and spicy sauce in it.

I like sashimi and interesting rolls. There's a place nearby that has several different kinds of rolls you can get topped with crawfish, which is delicious! (not very Japanese, but still)

I'm a vegetarian so I'm aware this is sacrilege to a sushi lover, but I like sweet potato tempura rolls and I don't know if this is a real thing or just something the place by me does but it's a spicy plum roll!

Ditto on uni but it has to be great quality. You know it's good quality when you go to a sushi place and they don't have it year round!

@sunny: exactly what DH and I love! Whenever we scout a new sushi restaurant and look at the menu, we look for toro and white tuna or super white tuna first!

I love sushi! I love chirashi and specialty rolls. I'm a sucker for anything with spicy tuna or spicy king crab in it. I'm not a fan of anything with too much tempura or any octopus. Volcano rolls are good too! Love, love, love.

The ONLY sushi I have ever tried was California roll and spicy california roll only bc my sister begged me to try it, it wasn't bad. Everything else doesn't look appetizing.
