After I became pregnant, Olive Garden debuted a new wine: Roscato. I had the tiniest sip while pregnant and then bought a whole bottle two days after we came home from the hospital! It's sooooooo delicious! What's your favorite wine?

My favourites are Pinot Grigio or a Sauvignon Blanc.

I'm a big fan of Chardonnay. I just loovee a crisp, cold glass of white wine! I used to love Rieslings but I think having gotten used to wine, it's a bit too sweet for me now.

@illumina: It's a sweet red dessert wine. Have you ever had a Moscato? It's similar to that, but red and delicious!

@Smurfette: I think they both are sweeter than Reisling, so it depends on how sweet you like them! Another good sweet (but not too sweet) wine is LaBelle Winery's Cranberry wine. Though that one might just be local to Mass/New Hampshire...

I like The Little Penguin Shiraz (and Cab Sauv). I bought it for the first time because it was cheap and I thought the label was cute, lol. Clearly I have very discriminating tastes!

mmm wine how I miss it! RED Zinfandel... not pink but delicious full bodied red.

Cabs are my all time favorite, but DH has been making some pretty good wines from various kits lately, so I may change my mind soon.

@SouthPaw: Wine was the thing I missed the most during my pregnancy! I know they say you can have some, but I only started craving it at the very end, and by then I felt like I had come so far, I might as well wait! I almost told friends and family they could only visit the baby if they brought me wine, haha.

Can I just say good wine? lol! I'm not too picky as long at its smooth, not too acidy and not too sweet. I would not like your Roscato @Adira! lol! Waaaayyyy too sweet for me!

@grizz: If you can, have someone bring you wine! Then pour yourself a glass while the baby is sleeping! That's what I did and it was WONDERFUL!

Dry red - Malbec is my first choice

Moscato or Riesling and if i'm in a red mood I'll have a glass of Pinot Noir but I prefer crisp white wine!

@Adira: It tastes like creamy raspberries and once you swallow it leaves the best melt in your mouth fresh sweet butter. It is amazing. I can drink the whole bottle by myself, it's so smooth. And it's the perfect summertime drink!

Love a good dry rose on a summer day. Otherwise, a nice, buttery chardonnay or a big bold Cab. Yum.

For white I like pinot grigio and for red I like malbec. I don't really like very sweet wines.
