So I haven't decided yet if we will be doing anything with LO for Halloween. She will be 13.5 months. Her bedtime is usually 7 & I feel like trick or treating with her at this age would just look like I'm trying to score some free candy for myself lol.
I think I'm going to check & see what our friends with kids are doing. I'm hoping there is a festival or trunk or treat or something to hit up. What's your plan with a young LO/early to bed little?

Chloe turned 1 the week before Halloween. She loved seeing everyone's costumes. If was a pretty warm night so we let her dress up and walk to our neighbors house.
Our TOT is from 6-8 and she was outside for maybe a half hour.

We take her to DH's small hometown of 250 people, you can walk around in about 30 minutes and then they have a costume contest and hot dogs for everyone at the community center. It's the perfect size for her young age.

D is at his dad's that weekend, so I'm taking M to my parents' church for Trunk or Treat.

My mother's club has a costume playdate (adorable photo op) the weekend before Halloween.
On Halloween we plan to trick or treat early on our short cul de sac. Probably right around 6pm once everyone is home from work/daycare. We know everyone and LO is very social so I think she can handle it at 19 months. Then we'll pass out candy at home. I'm more worried about that part. My nephew was terrified of trick or treaters last year at LOs age.

My daughter was just about that age last year, too. She was used to a strict bedtime but on Halloween night, we went TOTing with friends+kids at 6:30pm. It didn't last too long since all the kids were rather young (under age 4). LO had no idea what candy was and didn't even attempt to open anything so it was really just the fun of seeing people in costume and getting fresh air :). We pushed her around in her buggy and she got out to greet the people at their doors.
The Sunday before we went to a fall festival and she also had a fall themed party at daycare + parade costume.
I don't know what we will do this year now that she knows what candy is.... >_<

LO will be 6 months. We might see if my sis wants to take my nephew to trunk or treat and then we can tag along. He has some batman pjs to wear.

LO is turning 1 a few weeks before and I'm pregnant. We will not be trick-or-treating. We will dress her up and let her see the costumes on the kids that come trick-or-treating to our door. It's only my 2nd year living in a neighborhood that wasn't too rural so I'm still new to the concept of kids coming to my door for candy. It's fun!

C will be 2 yr, 3 mo. We'll probably just go trick-or-treating on our street and one street over to the neighbors we know (who have toddlers, too). H will be 5 months, so he'll come along for the ride.
We'll spend the rest of the evening eating takeout and handing out candy, I'm sure 
But our neighborhood hardly has any trick-or-treaters and we've ended up with so much extra candy the last 3 years!

We will 100% for sure get zero trick or treaters due to our location so u really kinda want to take her out. Maybe we'll get a group together like some of you are doing!

My work (I work at a park/tourist destination) throws a huge halloween event the weekend before Halloween. DH will be taking T around for trick or treating there. I'll be working but trying to include myself when I can. Haha
We'll probably put his costume back on Halloween night and drive around to family's houses to trick or treat. Our neighborhood isn't ideal for trick or treating.

Our neighborhood does a pre trick-or-treating thing. Food and games for the kids. Plus drinks for the adults. Then trick or treating. I figure she will be up later but one night will be ok.

We are having a halloween party for the LO's and their families in our playgroup. My daughter will be 15 months, she goes to bed around 7/7:30, so we are having pizza and snacks starting at 5, then the kids can trick or treat or just hang out in their costumes until they crash!

She'll be almost 15 months and bedtime is 7. We're planning to take her trick or treating to a few houses on our street after dinner but that's it. We live near lots of families so most of the trick or treating is done early. She'll be in bed a tad later but hopefully by 7:30!

Not sure yet. Daycare takes the older kids trick or treating around the business Park. We might take DD 1 just to a few neighbors after dinner. But we don't want to give her candy yet so not sure how we will handle that.
There's a Halloween event at the zoo I want to take LO too. She's been asking about the zoo nonstop. Hopefully we'll have time to take her.
They will be 30m and 2m.

At 4 months, we stayed home. At 16 months, we dressed her up and pet her go to a few houses of neighbors we knew. This year, at 28 months, she can go trick or treating with us and our neighbor kids and we'll let her have a little candy.

Not sure yet. We'll probably take her trick or treating, just not sure where. I don't know how good our new neighborhood is for it.

We are going to dress up our dogs, sit outside, and hand out candy. We get a ton of trick or treaters. I love handing out candy.

I think we'll have kids at our door for the first time ever (now that we live downtown) so we'll probably dress up to hand out candy - or DD and DH will while I sit on my butt just kidding... right now relaxing just sounds nice

My older daughter's birthday is Halloween so we will do a quick and early family dinner followed by a few streets of trick or treating!
