I'm going to say Cradle Hold at the moment, but that's because it's all we do. We've done side-lying all of twice and it's probably not much different for him than cradle hold.

Cradle. If she's right side up when she starts nursing, she will immediately turn her head and lay against me. Girl likes her routine!

Side lying at night/early morning, and if we nurse during the day it's him sitting on my lap facing me with his legs on either side of my waist. And he has to have both boobs available to him, and will go back and forth between them.

Right now it's side lying. She'll say boobies and then lay down and wait for me to bring them over.

I'm not sure if it's his favorite but during the day I just sit cross legged on the ground and plop him in my lap and he uses my arm as a head rest, so I guess it's like a cradle hold.

side laying firt thing in the morning, then cradle, then when she is REALLY tired she straddles my leg and faces me. That's when I know it's time for her to lay down.

@mrsjyw: Ha ha, A does this too! She does downward dog position while she nurses side lying, then moves around during the session. She'll throw one leg over my waist, try stand up.... girl is very flexible
