What's the difference between "waiting to try" and "taking a break". We're planning on having a second child in the future, but we probably won't start trying for at least another year.

@skibobrown: to me, I thought of myself as was waiting to try before dh and I had ever ttc--we were emotionally ready for over a year but waiting for logistical reasons. so I was on here dealing with my baby fever even though I was still on bcp
we weren't taking a break because we'd never tried before and don't have any other kids and had never been pregnant. I'd think of taking a break as either stopping ttc after awhile, or waiting in between kids/pregnancies

Taking a break! Hoping to start ttc for number 2 in about 6 months or so. Lo just turned 9 months. I have crazy baby fever at the moment!

I have to be back at work for 6 months to qualify for mat leave again so 10 months is kind of the safe zone (I'm off for a year).

DONE with waiting for cycle #1-on to cycle #2! This one can be more NTNP, though, and full steam ahead to TTC again in August. Can't wait!!

TTC, although kind of on the sidelines now.

We are taking a break, although I haven't changed my status from waiting to try! We are forgoing trying for #2 in favor of house buying and me getting a job!

If you ask me, I'm taking a break. If you ask my husband, the baby factory is closed.
We will see.

Factory is closed for us.... While a certain part of me wish I could have #2, I think 1 is enough and a logical, right decision for us. Besides, I am too old (38!) and husband didn't want to have any kids to begin with.
