My almost 17 month old has been up between 10-12 pm the last 5 nights screaming his head off. I usually stay up with him for around an hour. Bonus, he was up at 5:45 this morning! Ughhhhhh.

My 15 month old is sleeping 7:30-6 pretty consistently with the odd 5:30 wakeups thrown in there some days. I just can't get her to nap for more than 45 minutes in the afternoon (her only nap), so I know she is exhausted. As am I!

He is 15 months old and is STTN; I just wish he slept later! He has been up at 5:40 the last several days, ugh. BUt he sleeps 7 to 5:40, and takes 2 1hour+ naps so I guess I shouldn't complain.

Lately things have been good!
She has one or two night wakings (and I'm a sucker and give her a bottle of breastmilk) but sleeps until 8:00 or 8:30.

Transition to one nap is taking going on 3 months. Naps are screaming affairs and may last 40 min to an hour 20 min. Nights are still good since he sttn for 10-11 hours, but he's starting to fight those too. He is almost 15 months.

My almost 20 month old sleeps great. He sleeps 7 - 7 and takes 2 hour naps. We've never had sleep issues.

7 to 8-8:30 last week with no wakeups. Night sleep and daycare naps are good but weekend naps are short.
DH's schedule changes a lot so we have to wake her up at 6am next week.

She's 26 months and has been playing during nap time the past few days (at least she stays in bed) so those days she has an early bedtime of 7pm and sleeps until 7:30 or 8:00 (I wake her by 8:15 if she's not awake). She did take a nap yesterday from 2:30-5:00 so her bedtime was 8:15 and she woke up today at 7:15

She is 20 months and a good night is 7:30 to 7;00 am with 1 wake-up. We hardly ever have a 'good' night. Last night was 4 wake-ups. I am SO tired.
Naps are great, guaranteed two hours.

Can't complain!!
@hilsy85: early wake ups was a sign that we needed to transition to 1 nap. Or your LO may be getting too much daytime sleep and need more awake time during the day. I know it sucks to wake a baby from a nap so the other option would be to put him to bed a bit later to get a later wake up. Otherwise, I would consider the transition if you want to transfer some sleep to night time.

@Sammyfab: ugh I had been hoping it was a phase but it's going on like 5 days--and today he was up at 5:15! I was thinking about limiting daytime sleep, but I HATE to wake him and have him be cranky. If I put him to bed later, he just seems to wake up at the same time, or even earlier sometimes. The reason I'm hesistant about the 1 nap is because he still goes down REALLY easily for his first nap, which is about 3 hours after he wakes up. I probably could push him longer, but I don't know if I should...

@hilsy85: oh, believe me, waking my LO up is one of my absolute least favourite things to do! I only ever recommend it if it's obvious that night sleep is being affected. When we transitioned, my LO also went down really easily for his first nap but he would take 30 minutes to fall asleep for his 2nd nap. Bedtime was ok but he would wake early. He never refused a nap and we could have held onto 2 shorter naps for longer but I preferred longer nights!

22 months next week. She sleeps great at night, for the most part. We sometimes have issues with her wanting to fall asleep though. I generally have to drag her out of bed in the morning.
Naps are the problem... Well, they'd be less of a problem if they existed right now. They don't and they havent in a couple months.

We're doing well at the moment. He sleeps from 8-9p to 9:30a, with maybe one night wake-up (because he woke up and realized he didn't have his pacifier) and naps from 1.5-2 hours during the day. It took us a LONG time to get to this point, though, and there are still nights where he's up 4+ times.

@Sammyfab: hm ok thanks! We are going on vacation in a week, so maybe when we get back we will attempt the transition! He'll be 15.5 months at that point, which I guess is right around when kids typically transition...
