Whole wheat whenever I can. LO loves it and she really only gets white bread when we are at my parents' house.

@Bao: Me too - I've managed to retrain myself on bread and rice, but for the life of me, I just can't get on board with not-white pasta. Blech.

Always wheat. It's common to find spelt pasta here and I mostly buy that.

White. I really dislike most wheat things like pasta and breads.

We mostly eat wheat, except for rice--I prefer white rice. And pasta is a mix

Wheat/multigrain bread, white everything else (occasionally wheat pasta, but not often).

DS isn't really into sandwiches yet so he doesn't eat a whole lot of bread. On that front, we tend to eat whole grain.

Rice, we eat 50/50 white and brown, sometimes with some black Japonica mixed it. Mostly because I like sticky rice and brown rice isn't as sticky. If its jasmine or basmati, then its all white.

Pasta is white.

Breakfast foods like pancakes and waffles are still white, mostly because I buy the frozen kind.

I try to make up for it with other whole grain sources, like oatmeal, whole grain cookies and snacks, brown rice cakes, homemade popcorn, adding whole wheat flour, oatmeal, flaxseed meal and chia seed meal to baked goods.

But DS is such a light eater, I really just want him to eat anything!

We buy the Dave's Killer Bread (Good Seed) because LO will actually eat the crust on that one. For pasta I buy veggie pasta, we don't really eat pasta that much because LO doesn't like it, we also don't eat much rice. When I bake (or make pancakes) I use whole wheat flour. I don't think it tastes that much different.

Brown everything.
I miss carby white bread but have grown accustomed to 12 grain bread. It's all the kids have known.
