My MIL offered to purchases our girls any bed frame set from IKEA as their gift when we moved to our new home. For my youngest, I picked the Tyssedal:

Both in white, both in queen, both with the lonset slatted bed base (pain to put together, but extremely sturdy and worth it). We also got our youngest an IKEA mattress (oldest had one already). Everything has held up incredibly great over the past year - jumping, roughhousing, all 4 of us have snuggled on both beds before, etc. - and I like that these pieces will age well with them as they grow older.

I'd probably go with Pottery Barn or a furniture store like Thomasville or Ethan Allen.

I would do an upholstered bed, a nightstand that is not part of the bedroom set, like maybe something mirrored or in an accent color, and then I'd get the desk with hutch and a tall dresser.

I’d go with a Jenny Lind bed. You can buy one that is pink or white. I wouldn’t go full on matchy matchy.

I think it will age up well. We got it at a local furniture store, not through Macy’s so shop around for the best deal.
