Do things go easier or harder? Or no relationship? Baby boy will be 8 months soon and no sign of teeth. Sometimes we'll see a little symptom here or there (drooling, loose BM, a little crankiness) but it never lasts and we don't even know if it's 100% related to teething.
If your baby was on the late side for getting teeth, how was your experience?

DS1 was 9 months when he cut his first tooth. It didn't seem any harder or easier than my who had early teethers.

@Navy_Mommy: thanks! I didn't think it would make any difference, but my mom said it might be harder the later the teath come through. I'm glad it doesn't have to be true 100 percent of the time!

DD cut two in two weeks at 9m. To be honest didn't really notice them hurting her or wrecking our normal. She is still working on tooth 3 and 4 (now 15m) and it has been hell! I am sure it is baby dependent, but holy moly, these two have been trouble and make me dread the future ones to come!

My babe cut her first tooth on her first birthday! It has been a bit easier than with my first, who was also late but not late. But, she did then proceed to get three teeth at the same time! So I'm sure that was no picnic for her and she did have a lot of night wakeups.

DS got his first two teeth at 11.5 months. We didn't see them coming until they were there. All of his subsequent teeth were easy on us. The worst symptom he ever had was a mild fever.

Lo got hist first 2 teeth at 9 months and next 2 at 13.5 months...it has been fine! Not really terrible at all.

E is almost 10 months and one is finally cutting in! There's major drooling right now, and we give her advil before bed

Oh wow, such a wide range of experiences/ages! I'm glad later teething doesn't necessarily mean more difficulty or pain, though..
