i'm out of cheapo tests thanks to me starting to test @ ~8DPO. today is ~14DPO so i figured i'd try one last test, a dig test to put this cycle to rest. sounds easy right?!? it didn't read pregnant or not pregnant, i got a book error!! so i bust the thing open, because that's the logical thing to do, haha, and see not one, but 2 lines, one very much lighter than the other, but visible. so i turned to dr google and found out you can't read the lines inside the digital tests, that pregnant & non pregnant woman can see 2 lines =/ errrrrr. i'm not sure how i peed incorrectly to begin with, it was FMU, i counted to 5 while peeing. stupid test! i have one more and i'm not sure if i should try again today or wait til tomorrow morning.

I have no self control, therefore I advocate taking another test and then buying more if necessary. I'm such a junkie when it comes to tests, though, that my opinion should be considered biased.

I think they measure two different hormones, not a control and test line like the normal tests -

I was so bad, I kept tests in my desk at work and in two different bathrooms at my house....

You are 14dpo, it would most likely be a BFP or BFN either way, by now.

I tested after my BFP on a digital and it came up with error. I say go for it and test again!

I recommend peeing in a cup and dipping! I always found it way easier. Good luck!!

pity party for one commencing now. I did bust this one open just to compare & contrast, no color to the line but I could see where it would have been. The other had a thin line of color along the edge of that space. Guess that's what screwed it up. Oh well. Thanks for all your positive thoughts though!!

thanks ladies! AF is an unpredictable old witch for me, lately she's been arriving right before day 80 which is my dr's cut off for when she'll induce it. today is CD 27 and i got a 'peak' reading on the monitor on the 14th & 15th (CD12 & 13), so i'm about 2 weeks out from O. i did just pee on a OPK, random i know, but someone else said that they got a BFP on one & i'm outta HPTs, DH is working and i have a POAS addiction =D the OPK looks kinda positive.... not sure what that means! haha, now i've just tormented myself further!

@Mrs. Jacks: i did while i was working with a chinese medicine/fertility acupuncturist, but my temps were always way too low & never showed any sign of ovulation. i worked with her as long as i could afford, but $90+ the cost of herbs each week was just adding up after a few months i had to stop & have been trying to get in with a RE to get things going. in the meantime i was using the clear blue easy fertility monitor.

@Mrs. Jacks: what are your thoughts on OPKs as clues? i know it's not the same thing, but if i did have a peak on the monitor 2 weeks ago would there be a reason for the pretty darn close to positive OPK? seems weird.... i read that pregnant woman will have positive OPKs, but not all positive OPKs mean a pregnancy, obviously you could be ovulating, but if i already did ovulate, why would i get one now? i'll attach a photo in a sec from my phone
