I'm leaving my job at the beginning of April and don't have another job lined up yet. (This is a buyout package, I have a severance that will be about about 6 months).
We haven't mentioned anything to the nanny share family or nanny because DH and I were still trying to figure out what to do. We were thinking we'd leave LO in the share for April so that I can look for a new job full-time. If there are no leads then we'll pull her out at the beginning of May. Obviously if I was to get a job before the end of April (doubtful about that) then nothing would change.
Everything is so up in the air--they have until May to find a new family to share with...but then what if I get a job and they find a new family?
Do I tell them this is a voluntary leave? (It doesn't really feel that way though) And do I tell them now or wait until April (a month's notice?)
