With DH working some pretty long shifts and money being a little tight right now, we are choosing to celebrate on Saturday. He'll be off work earlier, I'll be off all day, so I'll make a nice dinner and we're going to exchange small gifts then.

Well we were actually going to celebrate today, because every year DH thinks it's the 13th so we decided to just starting celebrating it today. But he has some stomach thing (I think it's the flu, he thinks it's food poisoning, but either way it's been a very unpleasant 18 hours) so we'll probably go out to dinner or something this weekend.

Last night! Left LO with sitters for the first time and had a fancy adult dinner. Yay!

We don't celebrate Hallmark Holidays. MIL offered to watch LO for us, but we're not going to do anything.

We celebrated last night with a nice dinner! I will make him a cake or something on V day though.

DH brought home a gift for LO and I tonight, so this was our official celebration

We don't do much special for it- a pizza and nice bottle of wine so I don't have to cook. Our anniversary is in a month, so we do more for that instead.

I love V-Day, but this year will be so different! My dog is having surgery tomorrow and lo is still in the hospital. So we are going to celebrate, but we'll get take out from somewhere and that's basically it.

A little before, a little after. DH brought me flowers today, and I baked him some treats that he can take with him to the hospital tomorrow. We might try doing a lunch or dinner out on Friday though.

We are celebrating in Sunday because it is the first day I have off and that is when the deal at the Melting Pot happens to be at its cheapest!
