LO is transitioning out of our room. We whispered,held our sneezes lol and avoided talking when he’s with us. I’m excited but will miss him. We had a night light positioned behind our crib so it didn’t bother him. Blackout curtains and white noise machine too. We don’t really hang out in our room. His crib was moved yesterday to his new room . Trying to sleep train and get him use to it. It’s tough. You can try a divider or if possible move the crib somewhere else in the room?

Yep! It’s nice because they’re close for feeding or soothing, but not so nice for so many other reasons and you have to be careful to sneeze or cough!

We had Lo1 in our room until 6 months, and my 2 mo old Lo2 is currently in our room. We use a loud white noise machine, don't turn on any lights, and avoid making noise. My husband and I both have colds right now and I literally go into our walk in closet and close the door to cough. My husband is in the guest room because the cold makes him snore louder + he sucks at managing his coughing. I even had my dad wf-40 the hinges on our bathroom door because it was squeaky lol.
I feel like your kid is either going to sleep through everything or they won't. Sharing kinda sucks but it is what it is!

I guess we are weird, but no - we don't do anything to avoid disturbing her. We didn't with my son either and now he can sleep through anything. We aren't excessive, but we watch TV, talk, etc.

Bedshared with our first till she was 2, and currently bed sharing with our 2nd. We only have light filtering shades and white noise. No TV in there, and obv we whisper, but we pretty much all sleep through DH's snoring And if we can do that, nothing else matters haha!

@Littlebit7: Sure! Baby isn’t due until Feb so will be a little while but I’ll update once we’ve tried it out! We also considered sliding doors but didn’t seem worth the price since we might move within the year.
