I feel like I'm getting the run around from my pediatrician's office about when I can bring C back to activities. She had a fever Friday- Saturday. Sunday she started having a rash on her butt and back of hands and wrists. Kind of peaked Monday, has been getting better since then. I spoke with the nurse a couple of times and she basically said I was welcome to bring her in but it has to run its course no matter what, so it wasn't necessary to come in. I've kept her home since then and we are getting antsy! But she has a new tiny blister on her palm today. (I think it's new, but can't be sure)
The nurse called back to check on her today, said she was going to check with the ped about going back to a class tomorrow. Someone else called me back and basically was like, well without seeing her we can't tell you anything- by then it was 6 pm. I live three blocks away and could have gone in if they told me that earlier.
Anyway, enough venting. If your LO has had a viral rash or coxsackie or HFM, when did you bring them back to activities with other kids? It's not daycare, I wouldn't have to take time off work, but it's a class she really enjoys and I'm sick of being in the house. By also don't want to get the other kids sick for Christmas.
