Lately, it's been so difficult to change my daughters diaper! I'm sure it only gets harder as they get older. The entire time she's kicking, attempting to roll over, sit up, etc. I used to not mind diaper changes, but man, it's getting hard! She's 8 months old.

Around 5 months when he was rolling all over the place. He crawled just after 6 months and from 6-14 months diaper changes were awful. After that they became easy again because he could follow directions and help me by getting the diaper and what not.
ETA: Oh and when he was really wiggly I had no shame in sitting on the floor and using my legs to hold him down! Sometimes you just have to do what you have to do to get it done!

L has some really annoying diaper changes, but for the most part he's ok? If he's really worked up it's a pain, but otherwise he's pretty good about staying still. I do try to do a lot of distraction though.

Around six months with both. Once they started rolling around and trying to crawl. I hate changing my daughter right now because she is so active and wants to grab everything within sight!

With DD1 they were never a problem. DD2, on the other hand, is an absolute nightmare to change! She's 11 months now and thinks it is so funny to roll away, or arch her back, or just be incredibly squirmy as soon as you untape the sides. It's been getting progressively worse since around 9 months.

For us it wasn't until after 18 months that she really started fighting us .... prior she would try to roll or squirm but was easy to distract for a long time. NOW (24 months), she's sooo resistant ... she hates diaper changes, but doesn't want anything to do with the potty either. It's tough!

The more mobile he gets, the worse it is. This morning he grabbed his diaper and flung it as soon as I undid the catches and I had to grab poop with my hands. It was possibly my worst diaper-changing experience, even including the newborn blowout days.

They started getting annoying about a month ago. She is constantly trying to roll over or sit up while I'm changing her. And if she is tired she kicks and/or does this thing where she puts her feet down and does a backbend/bridge and scoots up up up until she bumps her head on the edge of the changing table then cries. And she is SO strong. I feel like I'm trying to wrestle an octopus when she really gets going lol. It does help if I give her a toy to play with while I change her (sometimes). But I'm sure this is just going to get to be a bigger and bigger problem.

I've been changing diapers standing up since 7 mo. Its a free-for-all here. I'm glad we EC cause I dread she'll fling a poopy diaper, trying to run away.
