I called as soon as the office opened - it's hard to get a 1st visit appt at my office, so the sooner the better -

I called the next day. They set up my first prenatal appointment, but that wasn't for a few weeks.

@mrsbookworm: I definitely think it is worth switching to get a care provider you are comfortable with. My old gyn doesn't deliver anymore so I switched from her to another practice and then switched again around 9 weeks to yet another practice. It was really worth it to go in and chat with someone from each practice, we knew immediately the first one was an awful fit.

Congratulations!!!!
I got a positive test on a Saturday morning and called my doctor Monday morning. I was 3 weeks and 4 days when I found out I was pregnant and 3 weeks 6 days when I called. The policy is to see women once they hit 8 weeks.

We called our RE minutes after we got the positive test. They did blood work an hour later and confirmed the pregnancy.

I found out in the morning, and called later that morning during a free period.

I got my BFP Friday evening and called the following Monday!
