How old were they and how long was the flight?
Haven't had a holiday this summer and need something to look forward to next year April/May time when LO will be 7-8mths old... or maybe even sooner if we think we can manage it!

We took her on a flight at 5ish months. I was terrified and didn't really 'feel' ready, but we did it and she was a champ. Luckily it was a direct flight and only 3ish hours each way. She slept almost the entire time.

We're planning to take DS on a trip to Florida to visit my parents when he's about 4 months old. I've heard it's a great time to travel with babies because they're so portable. He'll probably be happy to sit with us on the plane, as opposed to wanting to walk/crawl around like an older baby.
We also kind of want to do Vegas for DH's 30th b-day when DS is ~9months old. I can't decide if that's crazy or not though, lol.

Yeah, unless you have a really loud baby, that is a very easy time to take them on a trip. They just sit in your lap!

We took him on his first out of country flight at 4m and then again at 7m and 11m. The younger he was the easier!!!

His very first trip was a 3 hour car trip at 4 months. He wailed for most of it because my city baby had never really been in a car, and he hated it. The first plane ride was at 7 months from the US to France. He was fine, but I was still so tired from not sleeping (in general, he was definitely not STTN)!

We went on a 4.5-5 hr flight (across 3 time zones) when he was 4 months. We went on a total of 9 flights in his first 14 months of life. To be honest, the first time at 4 months was the hardest and it got way easier the older he got. I don't regret taking that trip though!
