I just read the 18 month old update on baby center and it said that you should get a potty seat to have around now so your LO gets used to it now. It seems so early for that! Is my LO really ready for a potty?
She doesn't ever tell me when she's wet yet, or when she has a poopy. She actually couldn't care less if she has a wet diaper or a poop.
She does love changing her dolls diapers though

We got one for Liv at 18 months just to have. She tells us when she's wet or if a poop is bothering her. We aren't going to push it. When she's ready we'll start. I just bought it to have on hand. I got the Prince Lionhearted WeePod

We actually bought the Baby Bjorn potty chair because I think it's a little more accessible, although it does take up more room. It's really your choice when you start but I do think just having it around makes kids feel more comfortable with the concept of going on the potty.

I wanted to potty train my LO over the summer and bought a potty seat around 16 months. It was a complete failure, but he learned how to sit on the potty and has become more comfortable with the idea. I'll try again when the weather warms up.

We got ours at 18 months, I thought it was early (especially for a boy) but he actually started using it regularly at 20 months!

4 months. I 'offered' the potty and had her go right after naps and waking up. She never asked...still rarely will ask. She needs to be told, cajoled, bribed, reminded...etc.

We got ours at 18 months, but he didn't start sitting on it till 2 years old.

We got ours at 6 months to just have around. At 9 months started sitting him once a day. He just turned 19 months and I honestly think that if I had the discipline/energy he could already be potty trained but with being pregnant I just haven't been able to keep up with it.
