@autumnlove: LOL!
I got it about 8 months pp... Although DD is still pretty challenging that I'm scared to have another like her

I was ready to go for number two around 6 months pp. I don't think DH is quite there yet, and it's not realistic, so we're holding off at least for another year.

When LO was about 10 months old. But I'm scared to have another baby with colic.

we talked about baby 2 in the delivery room after I had my LO. haha.

LO will be a year next week and I'm not ready to think about another one yet!

I've thought about it already (DD is 3.5 months), but we want to enjoy our time with her for at least a year before we start trying

We didn't really have baby fever, it was just what we had planned (3yr age gap)! #3 is definitely on my mind though, starting from about 12 mo after #2.

I was ready to go through pregnancy and delivery again almost immediately. However I was not ready to have another baby join our lives!

don't so much have baby fever for another, as miss her early days already! I still am so overwhelmed with love (obsession?) for her its crazy. I know it's possible, but just cannot imagine loving another baby as much as her.
I'm sure as she gets older and I reallllyyy miss her baby days I'll get worse. right now, I'm happy

omg! you guys having baby fever right after giving birth are crajee!!! well, not really
I never had baby fever for #1 and I was ready to wait as long as possible before #2, and we were planning on waiting to have a 3-4 year difference. But as WJ got older we realized we didn't want him and his younger sibling to be TOO far apart in age because we want them to be friends, especially since we're probably not having any more kids. Both babies were completely 100% logical decisions. not very romantic, I know!!

13 months. By 18 months it was really intense. I'm not so sure I'll get it again full-blown but sometimes I have twinges.

2 years! But I have had baby fever for #3 since 3 months pp. We are waiting to try for about a year.

After the first week?
lol, I'm not even kidding. I thought I would be like most of my friends who didn't even want another kid for the first while/months/year after having their first!
DH and I talked about timeline of #2 for the first time a week after C was born! Hopefully will start to try next summer....!

I have baby fever right now at 8 month pp. Probably hit about 5 months pp!

I got baby fever for number 2 when number 1 was around 9 months. But, we had a plan that we wanted them to be 2.5-3 years apart, so I waited to start trying for 2 when number 1 was 23 months. I have had baby fever for number 3 since number 2 was 3 months. But, I'm waiting until at least January 2014 to try again.

It started when LO was around 8 or 9 months, but I was very conflicted because I didn't want to be pregnant again. The plan was to wait until he was 1, but we pre-empted a little.

You guys are crazy! I always thought I wanted a huge family, but after these first three weeks with a newborn, I can't imagine being ready for another baby for a very, very long time. Though, I'm totally going to view your answers as another sign that this is going to keep getting easier.

It's not quite baby fever yet, but I just started thinking the other day that I'd like a second. LO is 4 months old, and for nearly the past year I was almost sure I only wanted one. DH remains to be convinced, though. If we do decide we want a second we probably wouldn't start to try for another year or two.
persimmon / 1026 posts
Definitely not ready to start trying again anytime soon (LO is 6 months) but I have thought about shortening the age difference from 4 years down to 2.5-3 years. Haven't talked about it with my husband, though

We've been NTNP since 3 months PP! I've always always wanted a big family though.

When we got home from the hospital we joked around that that part hadn't been so bad. We discussed it again at 8-9 months, but I got cold feet, so now at 11 months the goalies are gone and we will see what happens.
blogger / eggplant / 11551 posts
6-months pp, but we didn't try again for #2 until she was 15-months. We didn't want 2 under 2!
bananas / 9227 posts
I don't know what's gotten over me! Just last week, I swore up and down that I didn't want anymore babies. But today, exactly 5.5 months pp, I'm actually considering it O_O!!! How the heck did I suddenly forget all about all worries/concerns/woes in just a few days, IDK. But there it is! Even if we decide on it, we'll wait for another year at least before we try.

At around the 4 month mark after DD1 and at the around the 1 year mark after DD2. I think it was just so hectic after DD2 that I never really thought about when we were going to ttc the next. And DH was hesitant at first about a 3rd but he has definitely warmed up to the idea

Starting at 13 months, I started to have twinges-- and it's getting worse. But only on the days where X slept through the night, and thus, I'm not sleep deprived-- so that's 60% of the time, maybe? On those 2 or 3 sleep deprived days each week, I think I could never handle getting through those days with 2...
We're under doctor's orders to avoid pregnancy before X turns 2 because of complications I had with my pregnancy and delivery. It works out well though, since that was my plan all along-- I want another baby badly some days (and I'd like to have 3 or more if possible), but I have zero desire to change the diapers of 2 children at once.

Yeah, we said in the hospital ok, time for another one! But for real, at 17 months PP, I'd like to be pregnant, I'm kind of sad I'm not. But eh, I'm ok with it. I think, yuck, no sleeping through the night? Hours of nursing daily? My toddler is getting so fun and interesting, I'm enjoying her more and more every day. I might be satisfied to only have one, if my husband wanted that.
He, on the other hand, is going a little nutso. He wants our children to be really close in age, like he and his brother were. I wouldn't be surprised if he asks me to consider weaning to improve our chances.

DD will be 8 months in 2 days and it went away! Well, at least for now =P

When ds was a year old. After my divorce it went away but when I remarried and dh and I had a miscarriage of an "oops" pregnancy we were hooked and made this one right after.
