When did you start getting baby fever for another child? My LO is 10 weeks old and I am already feeling the fever!! I would love to TTC this fall or early 2013. My DH is onboard with that timeline since we want our children to be close in age.

As soon as my who ha didn't hurt anymore (about 3 weeks) I was ready. But we want them 2 years apart so we're waiting. And lo is so much work, so I'm glad for that.

We started talking about baby #2 the day our LO was born! DH REALLY wants another baby asap. Now that LO is almost 1 I'm not afraid/anxious of getting pregnant--I really wanted to nurse until LO turns 1 without having to worry about decreased supply.

i don't think i had baby fever so much as i wanted to have 2 kids close together. i got pregnant with olive when charlie was about 13 months old!

my LO is almost 2 and i don't have it yet! but i guess thinking back, i didn't have baby fever before getting pregnant with the LO either.

@autumnlove: We are thinking the same timing too! As soon as we brought him home we were trying to figure out good timing to try for the little brother.
We want to give Cam a lot of attention his first year and as much breastfeeding as possible (or at least build up a really good freezer stash), I don't want to be sick while I enjoy his early months, so we'll start trying again late this fall. I decided that giving birth twice in 2012 is not the best idea!

Same as @mrs.bee. I didn't have baby fever per say. I just knew I wanted my 2 kids to have somewhat close in age (ideally less than 3 yrs apart). Our kids will be 2 years 3 months apart and we're good with that. I started getting baby fever when we started trying for #2. But before that, didn't really have the fever.

Right before I got my epidural I told my husband we were only having 1 child...after I got the epidural I told him I didn't mean it. Then after we came home from the hospital I thought there was no way I would want baby #2 for a LONG time. Well now she is 4 months old and such a good baby and I just packed away all her 0-3 month clothes which kind of made me a little teary...but still no burning desire for baby #2 for a while...i'm thinking we won't start TTC until she a little over 2 years old.

@artbee: lol. I had baby fever prettt quickly too!
I'm old so we are under the gun time wise. I want 2 so I was ready to go when LO was 5 ish months.

We haven't really talked about it yet. But in my head I'm thinking we'll TTC for #2 after bb #1 turns 1. I want to be able to devote at least her first year completely to her and not worrying about if this month we'll get the BFP. I don't really want them more than 2 years apart. But then #1 took us 9 cycles...so I might keep that in mind as well.

In the hospital after delivering #1! We knew we wanted them close together, but I wasn't sure how I'd feel after the actual delivery. I ended up having a c section, and had a wonderful experience, and already started looking forward to #2. Financially, probably better if they are about 18 mos apart, but we are excited for the next one whenever my cycles come back (DS is 12 weeks old).
