DS is 3 weeks old. We definitely want one or two more, but at this stage I can't even imagine having another! I am sure as the newborn stage is less all consuming I will feel differently it for now the idea of another is FAR from my mind!

@autumnlove: I had baby fever for #2 when I was pregnant but after L&D and all these night wakings I am happy to wait a while!! Did your just born baby fever last until you TTC #2 or did it wane at all?

@maybebaby: It waned a little but came back and I was pregnant when LO was around 7 months old.

@maybebaby: I was the same as you, couldn't even imagine going through those days again, and with a toddler. DH and I talked last night though that we still want another, even if it would be as exhausting as R was. That said we dont have fever for #2 at 3.5 months! I am thankful for my IUD.

I did at 12 months, but then when I left my ex husband, it completely went away, due to the fact I had no idea where my life was headed.
As soon as I remarried, it came back full force, and now it's probably worse than ever!

Caught baby fever in the hospital. LO is 5.5 months and I was actually excited when AF showed up yesterday. I'm fertile again!

DH had baby fever for #2 right away. It took me until about 4 months PP. And I found out I was pregnant at 6 months PP. I'm pretty sure that if I weren't pregnant already at this point the baby fever would be going crazy! I love this stage with E- he's just sooooo fun- and I can't wait to experience it again

I voted other because Sadie is 4.5 months, and I don't have baby fever yet. I actually still feel the same as you! I can't imagine doing this all again anytime soon. I'm even just considering skipping bio kid #2 and going straight to our adoption plan. haha!

Phases; I didn't all come at once:
5m: I can start seeing myself do this again
6-7m: I def want to do this again, but I'm not dyeing to.
8+: OK- we know when we're TTC again an I'm very excited about it
For me: I needed my body back in shape and wanted to enjoy not being pregnant for awhile. Also- I needed my son to sttn and needed to know he was healthy and hitting milestones. At this point: all is perfect and we are actually excited about the prospect of a 2nd.

My LO is 19 months and I'm just starting to think about #2. She was/is such an easy baby/child so I'm a little scared the second won't be so easy. Also I am just so caught up in her things that I almost can't imagine fitting another child in...but I know I want her to have a sibling and I don't want them to be too far apart...so I think we'll start trying after her second birthday

We both had a brief moment when we got home from the hospital, but then I wasn't into really trying for baby #2 until a little after a year. My husband would have been fine with it from the 10 month point, when we pulled the goalie, I wasn't 100% on board yet. Once C hit 13 months, he got so much more fun and I was really ready for another (well mostly, being sick during pregnancy scares me)!

I can't even imagine! Ask me again when I've gotten a full night's sleep We planned on TTC again when C turned 6 months but due to my pregnancy and L&D being much harder than we ever imagined we've pushed it back indefinitely.

Once X weaned and started sleeping better/through the night around 12 months, I started wanting another. But we have to wait a while still before we can have another (for medical reasons, finance reasons, and school reasons). So, yeah, I have baby fever for #2, and there will definitely be a #2 come hell or high water, but it's still going to be a while before we have another child.

With in a week of having LO! I still say (almost everyday) I cant wait to do it all over again, I constantly think about it and day dream about it...lol. I had a tough pregnancy and next time will be high risk the whole time but labor was a breeze. I will wait cause I want some time with LO before we have another but seriously I cant wait to do it all again!

When she was under a month I thought I wanted another, but after that and til now (9 months) I dont have baby fever!! But I am starting to think I want one eventually! Before I just wanted the 2nd for dd to have a sibling.

M is almost 9 months and I am totally not there yet. I'm not worried about pregnancy, but we had such a horrible newborn period - I feel like I have PTSD! I know that there will be a #2 (and maybe more). I'd love M to have a sibling who is around 2.5 years apart, but I don't think I'll ever have "baby fever" again.

When my LO was a newborn I had some serious pp anxiety issues and very much questioned whether I would ever want another one. But by the time she was about 4 months and we had a better handle on caring for her I knew I would have more. She's now almost seven months and I miss the feeling of a newborn in my arms but we won't be trying until her second birthday!

I'm in the one and done camp.
DH talks about wanting more kids, I told him we could talk when LO was in pre-school (which is age 3 around here).
I do most of the childcare and night wakings and I'm pumping and I'm just exhausted. I think I need at least 3 years to forget how hard it is to do it all solo.

LO is just over 6 months and I have just started to feel like I really want another. I feel like I barely remember when she was new and tiny and I want that back. I find it interesting, too, how my baby fever now is stronger than it was before #1.

Sandy said it perfectly, M is such an easy baby that I don't really want another. Plus I can't imagine splitting myself between another person, I'm spread too thin already. He's 18m and we've agreed to reassess at 2.

I thought I had baby fever when my LO was just born, and then reality and exhaustion set in, and neither DH nor I were ready to think about it until she was just over a year old. Got pregnant when DD was 13 months old.

i have a mixture because on one hand i have baby fever because he is growing up too quickly but on the other i love being able to focus fully on him. Tor is almost 10 months. when he reaches 1 and a half or 2 we plan to start trying. in the interim i am charting so i can be prepared

the first months were so hard for me because i think was depressed and so anxious, so i never wanted to have another kid ever again. at 5 months, i could see myself doing it again...now at close to 8 months, i find myself reminiscing about when she was a squishy newborn and missing those days and oh i wouldn't mind if i got pregnant now....yeah. selective memory.

Round 7 months. We really do want our LO's to be close together and I don't want to see AF anymore...She could go on vacation anytime....

I knew I wanted more kids but did not want to think about being pregnant again for the first couple months. I was over the moon for LO and couldn't imagine another baby. DH had baby fever immediately and it was cute but I was still recovering so also didn't want to hear it yet.
Around 9-12 months I started thinking about it more but wasn't quite ready, I was missing her being a baby but wasn't quite ready for another one. Then after she turned a year it slowly started ramping up and when she was 18 months it was in full swing.

We always wanted two kids, when DS was 15 months old we got pg when DD. She was born 3 days after DSs second birthday, so they are basically exactly 2 years apart and that was always our plan.
But, i never got baby fever for number 2 like i did my first. We just followed our plan. DD is 10 months old, I have no baby fever at all. Luckily, as DH got a vasectomy when she was 6 month old.

Xander's 4 months and while I don't have baby fever yet, I HAVE started thinking about baby #2. Hubs and I always planned to have two children close in age so I have started thinking about it...
