When did you and your SO have sex for the first time after having your baby?
I'm finding myself in the mood already and I'm just 2 weeks post-partum. I know I've read online that you aren't supposed to for 6 weeks, but no one medical has actually told me there's any sort of restriction.
Did you get right back in the saddle or wait awhile?

Hahhahah. I'm still pregnant, but my mom said to me, "There is no way you will be able to wait 6 weeks!"

We waited 7 weeks, I could have probably waited a whole lot longer though! I was pretty traumatized by that watermelon sized baby coming out.

We waited until I was 5 weeks and.. 4-5days? It was a few days before I hit 6 weeks pp!

Much the same as @chopsuey119. I don't think there's a medical reason to wait, it's just if it feels good!

@lemondrop: LOL at that picture. I'm laughing at it now because I've never been pregnant before. I'm sure when I get pregnant, I will not want to see that.

@bluestriped bee: it makes me laugh and cringe at the same time... very true to how I felt for the first 15 minutes after or so- with the same look on my face too!
I think after a month my sutures had fallen out and I felt more normal, I think I was just mentally psyching myself out for a few more weeks.

The doctor told us to wait 6 weeks so we did. It hurt enough then so I'm glad we waited. But we did other things before that.

2 months, but because I had really bad lower back pains. I was all healed after 6 weeks, literally on the dot.

We could have done it sooner, but we waited the 6 weeks til my dr. cleared us. And then, I got a UTI immediately after the first time back in the saddle so it was another week before we could do it again.
I wanted to do it sooner, but judging from how much it hurt that first time, I'm not sure how this one will go!

We waited 4 weeks, but I had a c section so nothing had happened "down there".

We waited 7 weeks because at my 6 week appt, the doctor said I still wasn't completely healed where I had my stitch. Although I really wanted to have it before then, I'm glad I waited. Even with lube, it was more painful than I expected.

Whew. Am I glad a lot of you ladies were able to before the 6 weeks. I -we- were seriously wondering how we were going to go 6 weeks...hhahaha.
