LO will be 8 weeks tomorrow ! I miss going to church. I think we are going to give it a shot next Sunday. Still undecided if I'm going to put him in the nursery. We are fairly new to the church we are going to and I don't know the nursery workers yet !

I took her starting at 2 weeks but kept her with me.

L was 2 weeks old, and has slept through church every week except last week. Our church nursery doesn't take babies till they're 1.

3 weeks, but now at 6.5 months, I still keep her with me.

2 weeks. We've kept LO with us so far (she's 16 weeks) but she's starting to get restless so I'm not sure what we'll do in the future. The good thing is our whole church has a bunch of infants so mine isn't the only one making noise.

I was going to go today (4 weeks) without LO but I chickened out. We don't have a nursery or anything like that at our church so I'm nervous about when to bring her. We might try on Easter at 6 weeks old. I might try to go by myself next weekend though.

We didn't go until 3-ish months. I didn't put her in the nursery until she was mobile.

We go to the night service, so I've been nervous to take her, because she's much more awake then. I don't want to put her in the nursery yet, but I'm afraid she'll be noisy during the service at night. We might try next weekend, and just sit near the back. We're definitely going on Easter morning though. I miss it!

We started at 8 weeks or so, but I keep the kids with me. They are angels at church, now if they could behave that nicely at home:)

We started about six weeks. We belong to a smaller church so no nursery but I like keeping her with me. At 6.5 months we bring some toys and I wear my chewbeads and she's happy throughout!

I had lo on Saturday and went to church the following Sunday, I probably would have considered going the next day but I ended up with a c-section do it just wasn't happening lol. But we have been going to church here for years so it wasn't a big deal, I just stayed in the nursery since there are speakers in there to hear the message.

With DD at 2 weeks pp. Our church has a nursing/mom's room so I sat in there most of the time.
DS we're taking him for the first time next Sunday. Wanted to avoid cold/flu season. Was going to go today, but DD is in the middle of potty training so didn't wanna take her too far from home.

I took her at 3 weeks old. We go to a home church though so she stays with us the whole time.

We went at 2 weeks. Our church doesn't have a nursery so we didn't have to worry about leaving her somewhere...she was with us.

LO was born on a Monday and the first Sunday (6 days old), our church (small congregation) came to our house for service! Then the following Sunday we went back to church.

I think 3 weeks PP. Our church only had nursery for 18m+ so you're expected to just keep your baby with you, which I am fine with!!

5 weeks mainly because she wasn't nursing very well, and didn't want to be in tears at church! Also wanted to avoid all the colds going around...No nursery at our church (it's small) so she stays with us. We have a nicely equipped moms room that I use as needed.

We just went last week at 10 weeks old. We kept the boys with us during the service. We weren't able to go today, but next weekend I think we're going to go and put them in the nursery. I really couldn't concentrate on the service because I was so nervous they'd start crying, even though they didn't. Our church has a great nursery though, with separate rooms for 0-12 months and 12-24 months and up from there.

Both my kids have been born on a Sunday (evening! Only an hour separate on time, lol), and the first time I think I went back at 2 weeks PP and kept him with me. The second time I think it was at least 3 or 4 weeks PP, but only because it was March and still very much winter and the flu and all kinds of other illness was making its rounds in our little town, so we wanted to avoid that, obviously. I felt good enough that I would have gone at 1 week PP if it hadn't been for the bugs. But, again, I kept her with me until she was mobile and not content to simply sit and watch everyone else.

A week and a half I think. At that age, he slept through the whole thing. Our church doesn't have a nursery. We sit near the back so I can take him out if he gets cranky.

I'm wondering about this myself.... I think it will be awhile. When I do go, LO will be in the k'tan the whole time.

I didn't attend church with DD until she was 4 weeks but that was due to our weekends being full. I took DS to church on his 1 week birthday (I had several people surprised to see us and everyone was very respectful of his "newness" and checked him out from a distance). I didn't put either of them into the nursery until they were 8w (after their first shots).

I was wondering about this too... My husband works for the church, so he will probably go back without us immediately. I don't plan on putting LO in the nursery until 8 weeks and will just sit in the back in the meantime.

I'm so nervous about this! We will probably go Saturday night on Easter weekend and keep her with us in service...I'm more comfortable with that than bringing her out in the crowds Sunday morning! Not sure when we'll start w/the nursery.

She never missed a sunday. She was born on a monday and we went that following sunday.
I always just wore her in a wrap and people respected our privacy. I couldn't imagine not going for a couple months!
