My lo loves it when we pretend to "eat" her hands or arms or legs. She has a tendency to do this, too to copy us but she actually bites when she does it. And when she bites, she bites HARD!!! Should we stop this habit (as fun as it is) so she doesn't think biting is okay?

I definitely wouldnt encourage it otherwise she may bite other kids for "fun" I think there was a post a while ago and someone's LO was getting serious bites from daycare

We never did specifically in an attempt to prevent biting behavior later. DS is now over 2 and we have only had a few biting instances that were all on DH when DS was teething. I have a dog that gets bitey when she gets excited so I taught her as a puppy to never bite skin, only covers and blankets, which she still does 6 years later. Maybe try redirecting the behavior when she does it? Same for you, either drop the behavior or "bite" at something innocuous to model the behavior you want so you can still play with her but is isn't directly at her?

Yes, I had to do it because my baby had 4 biting incidents in 8 days at daycare!!! And 3 of those days were half days!
It's so sad because my baby has sooo many cute rolls. I just want to nom nom nom all day long on them.

Our LO loves when we play bite her. Everytime I do it, Chopsuey's post pops in my head and I stop. I don't want my kid to be the biter
