First: spontaneous Labor on 40+1
Second: induced on 40+10, but was having contractions 6 min apart when I arrived at hospital

First: water broke 10 days after due date
Second: born day after due date, contractions started and I quickly progressed and he was born only a few hours after contractions started
Third: born 12 days after due date. Spontaneous labor.

It's impossible to tell.
1-40 weeks
2-37 weeks
Went into labor on my own with both

Well, according to my doctor and LMP, I had LO1 at 38 weeks and LO2 at 37 weeks. But, I knew those dates were wrong, so by my calculation they both came right around 38.5 weeks (both spontaneous).

LO1: water broke 39w 5d
LO2: water broke 39w 5d
I needed to be induced both times.

LO1 - 38w 4d
LO2 - 39w 1d

I started labor naturally with both pregnancies.

Second was born one day later than my first. I had always heard second babies always come earlier so it felt like she was late by the time she was born on her due date. I have a lot of friends who had the same experience so I wouldn't count on 2 being earlier!

Second was 2 weeks earlier! Both spontaneous labors.

my first was 38w exactly. I was 4cm dialated at my appt the night before and my water broke the next morning but no contractions.

I'm pregnant with number 2 and i really hope it hangs out past 38w other wise i'll be delivering on Christmas

DD1- spontaneous labor at 38+1
DD2- induced at 38+5

I was really surprised #2 didn't seem close to coming on her own before I was induced. I thought for sure she would have come before my induction!

My second was six days later than my first

This is terrible :(. I have 8 weeks left to go with #2 and I was hoping for the opposite answer from everyone!

I'm following this with curiosity. DD was 36+4 spontaneous labour (waters never broke, had to be assisted at 7cm!)

Labor started 6 days earlier with #2. Both were right around the 40 week mark

Earlier with #2 but I was told you're guaranteed faster but not sooner with birth #2.

Wow! Eye-opening, there definitely doesn't seem to be any bias to have your second earlier.
Both spontaneous
LO1: 39+3
LO2: 39+5 but i was convinced LO2 would come way earlier

N: 37 weeks
E: 35 weeks 4 days

I went into labor both times on my own. They even tried to stop labor with E but he was determined to get here. This time around I am shots to bake this baby longer and any signs that's not gonna work I will start steroid shots to prepare baby's lungs.
