LO is 6 months old, her crib is in the highest position, and I need to lower her crib this weekend. She's taken to trying to grab or kick her mobile and was coming within an inch or so last night. Guess my little girl is growing up.
When did you lower your crib?

i think it was 5 months. she pulled herself up and stood 3 times in one day!

we lowered ours at around 10 months? our LO is a big and strong guy but for some crazy reason he hasn't gotten it into his mind that he can easily sit up and pull himself up when he's in his crib. he's 13 months now and even when he's really upset (or not) he just stays on his back! hahahaha

7 months, the day after he pulled up for the first time. It was a PITA to lower it, so I lowered it all the way (so I wouldn't have to lower it again later).

Well, LO didn't sleep in her crib until 9 months . . . but over the past month, we have lowered the crib all the way to the bottom. Just last week she figured out how to pull up/stand even in her sleep sack. And yanno, I actually think she likes it better closer to the floor.

We lowered it all the way somewhere around 7.5 months when she was sitting up unassisted (getting to that position) on her own. However there was no mobile on it.

We lowered right when LO turned 8 months. We had been gone on vacation the month before and were shocked to see how much he had grown and progressed during that month. We put it on the lowest setting.

We lowered it around 7 months just because we moved and it was easier to drop it down then.

Around 7 months old he surprised me one morning. He wasn't awake at his usual time. I peeked in his room to find him pulled up and smiling at me. He nearly gave me a heart attack. That was the first time he pulled up, and it had to be in his crib. Silly LO.

I have a drop-sided cot and had to start lifting the side at around seven months or so - Miss A actually pulled herself up and fell out one night!
