Almost right away.. At around 10 weeks I had a noticeable drop. By 3 months pregnant I had dried up

@chopsuey119: So nothing noticeable until 10 weeks? I just noticed a drop in supply and pain while nursing. EPT has a faint line but amazon tests are negative so I'm not sure what's going on but nursing is def uncomfy.

@Maysprout: oh my boobs hurt SO much when I nursed early on.. Super cringe worthy each time she latched on.
About week 8 or so my letdown tingles started lessening too..
Exciting about the faint line!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My 2nd lines on amazon tests didn't appear until minutes later. I actually threw them away and saw faint 2nd lines later on when I went to use the bathroom.
Was shocked!

I'm not sure, she self wearned at 3 months pregnant. It could have been a lack of milk, I've also heard that the flavour changes?
And I was relieved because my nipples were super sensitive by then.

@chopsuey119: It's been hours and still no line. Maybe a hint of one but I think it's more imaginary. And I've taken 3 of them so I think I'm at my cutoff point for today. The 2 EPTs both had hints of lines though so I'll just feel like a crazy person for a few days until we figure out if there was a sticky baby or not.

Very interesting... there was a mom I knew in LLL who nursed through her pregnancy and now nurses her toddler and baby. Pretty intriguing I think! I wonder if maybe he just didn't get much (if any) milk and just resumed when her milk supply came back?

On another note - congrats on your possible BFP!! How old is your current LO?

@Coco Bee: I still nurse 2x a day before Lo sleeps. She gets nothing, but loves the comfort.. maybe she's getting some colostrum now? No idea!

@chopsuey119: will you continue then when your supply comes back?
hostess / wonderful honeydew / 32460 posts
@Coco Bee: that's the plan.. Gonna go as long as Lo wants to. Might cut it off at 2 years old though so 3 months of tandem? We'll see!

@chopsuey119: Oooh good luck hopefully it'll be easier since she's older!

Right away! I went from pumping 4-6 ounces per session to 0.5-1 ounces!

My supply drop has been slow and steady, but at 18 weeks LO is still nursing twice a day, and while the sessions are short I can tell he's still getting something. It has gotten less painful at this point though, so I'm thinking maybe the milk is turning into colostrom...dunno?
