I have a 3.5 year old and a 6 month old, and was wondering when you started bathing your kids together.

when the younger one could sit well. So much easier bathing them together.

@Alba4: right from the start. Baby in the little tub is ide the big tub and big bro in the big tub
Now she's 6 months and we just lie her flat in the tub and DS sits beside her. She has a super quick bath then we fill it more for DS.

Around 3 months or so I think- I used this mesh bath seat for the baby in the regular tub. It works great until around 9 months when she could flip herself out of it!

I will say, bathing them together saves time, but after dealing with two wet squirmy kids it's harder. Much easier if DH is home but he's often home after bath and I've got the big one cold and whining while I get the baby dried and dressed.

@FaithFertility: it really was awesome for those few months. Mine was a hand me down but it would be worth the cost on Amazon. Folds totally flat for storage but we usually were too lazy.

Starting when DS was around 3 months. My Lo's are the same age difference as yours, DD loooves that DS gets to be in the tub with her. We have the same bath seat as @Foodnerd81.

When my son was born he started bathing with his big sis. They love it!

From dd2's first bath. My girls are 3 years apart and I clean dd2 while DD1 played, then pulled her out, dressed her and then finished bathing DD1. We used this bath seat until she could sit up, now I just sit her in the tub and she likes to play.

I waited until my youngest was a year. My oldest likes to play rough sometimes, and I wanted to feel like my youngest wouldn't be as easy to knock over, etc. Of course I always watch them, but I was still worried.

I bathed them together for a few months starting at that age because DH worked past their bedtime a couple of times a week. Now we're usually both home for bedtime so we've gone back to separate baths.

About the same age difference, as soon as DS could sit well unsupported - so he was about 7 mo? I put them both in together, wash DD while DS splashes, wash DS, take him out and get him in jammies while DD plays, then get her out.

My littles are 3 years apart, and I didn't start until the youngest was about a year. It was too hard to keep him upright and not face first into the water.
