My mom bought all my clothes until I started junior high. That's when I started going to the mall with my friends and picking out my own clothes. But I loved going back to school shopping with my mom, and look forward to doing it with Charlie and Olive!
When did you start buying/choosing your own clothes?

Probably middle school. I was never allowed to go to the mall with just my friends till I was much older, but my mom would let me pick out my own clothes and she would buy them. I mean, as long as they weren't "trashy" or "revealing", lol.
There were many Christmases that I just requested cash to go shopping with and I would get it! My mom loved to shop, too so we would have tons of fun shopping together.

I think I was in high school...and it was the latter part of high school. I had no interest in clothes as a kid.

Around 4th or 5th grade I told my mom where I wanted my clothes to come from The Limited!
The first clothing item I bought on my own was a green shirt from Express. I was 14.

I was in elementary school when I started to pick out my clothes (with my mom and she would buy) it was HS when she would give me money to go to the mall to pick my own out (or with my own money from work.) I have always been a clothes lover, so I enjoyed spending every penny on them!
