We are at 5 months and still do not do a daily bath. I will probably start when she starts getting more mobile this summer.

We do every other day, or every few days. She's 6 months old.
Once she starts feeding herself and getting messy, We'll switch to daily.

When I started giving him solid foods. He loves to play with his food (and we encourage it), but it always ends up in his hair, neck folds, squished between his fingers..etc, so he gets "bathsies" ever night now

Xander's 12 months and we only bathe him 2-3 times a week because of his eczema.

7-8 weeks but didn't use soap every time. It was more of the routine. Then at 12 weeks we use soap every night to wash off day care germs.

Last summer we did daily baths when she turned 1. During the winter we do baths every other day. She's a sweat machine in the heat so, as soon as it warms up, we'll be back to daily again.

Both my kids got daily baths from day 1 as part of their bedtime routine. Both kids have very dry skin so we make sure to keep the water cooler and moisturize like crazy.

Daily around 6 months - it started as a good time-killer before bedtime, and is now part of the PM routine. DS doesnt have any skin problems, and if we are busy as a miss a day, it's no biggie.

Around 4 months when we started our bedtime routine. We might skip a day if we're rushed but 90% of the time she has one after her supper (which since starting solids is very messy!)

Maybe 3-ish months with occasionally skipping a night. Now we do it entirely out of habit. It's part of winding down before bed for my daughter. I think I'm going to have to start blow drying her hair soon if we keep doing baths right before bed though! It's getting long enough that it doesn't dry completely on its own before she goes to bed.

I actually started out giving her a daily bath to get a routine going. In the last couple of weeks I noticed that her skin is feeling a bit dry (we live in the driest climate ever), so at 9 months I started every second day.

At 18 months old, we bathe him about every other day. During the summer, he might get 3 baths a week.

Never. He's got eczema. I've always just did it a few times a week and now he only showers on nights that he had PE or other physical activity during the day.

We still do every mostly other day and my kids are 16 months and 3! Am I bad?

For the sake of routine, we started at around 2 months....now at 6 months we use soap on Monday, Wednesday, Friday & wash her hair on Fridays. All the other days she just gets rinsed off & plays. It helps her wind down for bed.

@mamimami: my 4 year old niece gets bathed every other day....I think it's normal!

two weeks. we made it part of his bedtime routine. now at 15 months DS goes without a bath on Sundays and Wednesdays (gymboree class runs late). WE always wash his hair because he has a ton of it... but we just put a dab of soap in the bathwater so his skin doesn't dry out.

Bath every night since she was about 4 months old. She gets washed with Dove Sensitive Baby Wash every other day. We were using Johnson & Johnson baby wash prior to this, when she was getting a bath every few days, but she got a rash. Her doctor suggested the Dove soap and to alternate days between soap and water and her rash cleared up almost immediately. I'll never use a Johnson & Johnson product again.
