I did 5 mos with DD1 - mostly because I didnt know any better. It was really challenging...she was not a natural.
With DD2 I waited until 6 mos - what a difference. Girlfriend chewed from bite #1. So worth it to wait!!!

We started DS at about 5 months with cereal, then fruit and veggies. By about 6.5 months he was eating real food.
At his 3 month check up his led said to start him any time after 4 months and for sure by 6.
