LO turned 1 a couple of weeks ago. She's still my baby.. I'm guessing I'll call her "my baby" until we have baby #2?

I have no idea, I don't have my LO yet! But my ILs call my nephew 'the baby' and he's almost 3, totally irks me for some reason.

It strikes me as a little weird when someone refers to a child as a "baby" if the kid can walk unassisted.

I agree, when another baby comes lo will be my big girl.

When she started walking, I started telling her she's not a baby anymore. She's a toddler. But then I catch myself calling her 'baby' all the time. So she must be rightly confused. She's not a baby unless she's sick.
Then she's my little baby.

"I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always. As long as I'm living, my baby you'll be."
I can't imagine him not being my baby!!
Then she's my little baby.
