Maybe 2 weeks? I was on Norco and other stuff and it wasn't working so I just stopped. My pain wasn't manageable but I was sick of telling my Drs that it wasn't working.

I never took pain meds.
Not a big medicine fan, plus I think I was high off baby.

With my first I never took anything but it was a natural birth so I didn't need it, for #2 I had a c/s so I took percocet and ibuprophen for a week and then just ibuprophen for 6 weeks I think.

A week. But it was just strong Motrin. I took some hydrocodone twice but it made me so woozy and nauseous and then had a panic attack the second time I took it so I never took it again. My pain was never too terrible, though, thank goodness.

I didn't get pain meds (except they had me on an epidural for like 6 hrs after delivery). I was told to take 1 Tylenol and 1 Advil as needed when I got home. I probably did that 2-3 times a day for about 3 wks.

I took oxycodone and ibuprofen with my first but realized a few days later that it was constipating me, so I stopped and just continued with ibuprofen. When the oxycodone wore off I felt like I was hit by a bus!! (I had a 24 hour labor and 3 hours straight of pushing.) The second time... uhh I don't remember! I think I was just on ibuprofen.
ETA: haha. I just remembered. I was on fioricet because of my spinal headache. Fioricet contains acetaminophen so I alternated that and ibuprofen.

I took motrin for the first two-two and a half weeks...at first it was for soreness, then it was for mastitis, then it was for general breast pain related to breastfeeding.

I took Motrin the first night as pitocin after having P causes crazy cramping (wasn't able to immediately bf). Otherwise I didn't take anything.

I took maybe three percocets after baby (all at night and more to knock me out than for pain). I'm now 2.5 weeks post partum and taking Advil once a day but I only take one regular 200mg pill. The Motrin600 that the doctor gave me makes me really sick to my stomach.

when they ran out! I had a million stitches and was going to use those babies until I couldn't anymore. after they ran out I was taking Advil until the pain wasn't so sharp, maybe 6-8 weeks. but I was still in pain/had hyper-sensitivity until 6-8 months pp.

I took the Motrin for almost a week post partum, maybe 5 days after I was home.

I only took it for a couple of days. I wasn't really in any pain... until my skid marks started healing and then I would scream every time I peed... then I wish I had some pain meds.
