We just moved DD into a full size in February, about a month before she turned 3... but we did it because we're expecting #2 and wanted to turn her toddler bed back into a crib. She's sleeping great in the full size bed though, even better than in her toddler bed! I think it's much more comfortable and roomy for her. We do use the side rails to keep her from falling out since she moves around a fair amount (used a pool noodle under the sheet in the toddler bed to keep her in).

@Bunnylove08 No trouble at all! I even put it off for months because I was terrified of it disrupting her sleep. She was excited to sleep in her "big girl bed" and has never looked back.

We actually switched DD from her crib directly into a twin (with guardrail) at almost 26 months. We need the crib for the baby coming in July and wanted to do the transition early. She took to it like a champ and loves her big girl bed!
