I talked to my dr about thinking I might have ppd and she said to give it 8-10 weeks because of the weather and being cooped up.

For me, it got easier around 3 months and then markedly better around 6 months. I did have a lot of help from anti-anxiety meds, though

Mine came at about 5 months and I'm still working on it. I am doing so much better in the last week, but I have to make a conscious effort each day to change my mood.

When she started sleeping a little better and stopped being colicky. I don't know how much would be called "baby blues" and how much was just sleep deprivation coupled with a needy cranky baby, though. That was around 3.5 months pp. But, it didn't really hit me for a few weeks after she was born. She was a summer baby which helps a lot I think.
Spring is just around the corner. Right????

@Foodnerd81: Oh yes, good point. When My kiddo started sleeping better, I started to feel a lot better too! & woooo to spring.

@.twist.: I seem to have to make an effort not to be a biotch and then not to cry. So awesome.
@Foodnerd81: we've had over 100 inches of snow - I might see my grass in June

My baby blues (which were not ppd) were gone by 3 weeks. I think my doctor said if it wasn't gone by then, that I should go in. Honestly, those were a miserable 3 weeks. I wouldn't have hesitated to get help.

Like 4m? I had a winter baby in michigan. I felt fat, pale, cold and bored. My son started sttn and April came around, so I was good after that
