I think it was around 5 months when he started only waking up once a night for a feed

LO never slept in our bedroom. She screamed in our bed and in her sidecar sleeper. She just could not be that close to me and not be latched. For three weeks I slept on the couch in the living room with her across the room in the bassinet. Then we moved her into her own room. We kept the side car up until we moved at 9 months. She probably spent a total of 8 minutes in it.

5.5 months when she graduated from the cosleeper to her crib! it was an easy transition because she was over the cosleeper!

We moved DS at 8 weeks...no regrets, eveyone slept better. Next time I'll probably move them in even earlier...

LO is 18 months and still in our room....we all sleep well and feel if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Plus, we both not so secretly love having her in there with us for baby-snuggles.

We moved LO into the room next to ours at 7 months, I still wasn't ready, but LO was getting woken by dh's alarms/late nights so we decided it would be better for her to get uninterrupted sleep.

5.5 mos and we all started sleeping better. I wouldn't have done it sooner though because he had reflux and I was worried about having him too far away.

I think with #2, we moved him around 2.5-3 months? We had to be so quiet in our room and any noise whether it be opening a closet, taking a shower, brushing teeth, etc, would make the baby stir. So we moved him around that time. Good luck!!!

She slept in her room right away but there is a bed in her room (it's also a guest room of sorts) so I slept in there with her for about 3 weeks I think. I was so happy when I moved back into our room, which is literally right next to hers. She sleeps in a RnP still.

DS was a really good sleeper, so it was nothing to have him sleep in my room until about 5-6 months. Once he moved, it was an easy transition.
This LO will have to be in our room until after we move...which will be when he's at least 3 months old. We'll see how it's going at that point, I guess.

Around 6 months. She was waking up constantly and I had been bringing her in bed with is...and then I really wasn't sleeping well. She still wakes up once a night, but I am still getting more sleep than before.

When we sleep trained at 5.5 months. When he first came home he slept in a travel crib in our room but he's such a loud sleeper and the frequent night feeds and diaper changes were not working for my husband so we moved out to the living room for a couple of months. Then we sidecar-ed the crib to our bed because I missed sleeping in my bed but he slept so poorly we mostly co-slept until I couldn't take it anymore.
Not sure about this next one, she'll be in our room at first but I guess we'll see if she's a good sleeper or not.

@ms.janedoe: I started with putting him in his crib for naps about a week before we tried his room for nighttime... and yes we swaddled. I also rocked him to sleep at that point, and then gradually would start putting him in his crib drowsy.
