When did your baby's hair start getting noticeably longer? And when did he/she have a full head of hair? Sadie's hair is so short/thin & is showing no signs of filling out/getting longer any time soon. I just want to use barrettes!

J's hair has been growing constantly since she was born... mainly on the top though. Today someone at daycare said she looked like she'd been sticking her finger in a light socket... which was totally true... it was sticking straight up! I have to put it in ponytails or pigtails to control it!

It took a loooooong time for my DD to grow hair. It was such a slow growth, I don't even notice that it's getting longer.
You've seen her hair.. she's 26 months old and I've never cut it (just her bangs)

M is 8 months old and hardly a hair in sight. I guess it's easier to take care of, but I do get a little sad when everyone thinks she's a boy (in a dress?!?). How old is Sadie @photojane ?

L was born with a lot of hair. It seemed to stay the same length until maybe 16 weeks and now 21 weeks she's in little pigtails.

Jack lost like all his hair and its noticeably growing back now ! It's lighter than it was when he was born so you have to be up close to see it but its definitely growing thicker and longer !
Sadie rocks the headbands like none other !

@hilsy85: I am hoping she'll have some hair by her 1 year birthday, so you've given me hope.
@78h2o: Jealous - I want pigtails!
@chopsuey119: I love her little bangs! I feel like Sadie will be the same. I was born with a head full of hair, so I had high hopes for my daughter. WOMP WOMP.
@MrsF: She will be 4 months next week. She has the same amount of hair she was born with... except for her bald spot in the back.
@oliviaoblivia: I love her hair so much! That pigtail picture is adorable.
@coacheswife123: I think the old lady in the grocery store made me paranoid... I don't want her to look like a boy! haha

Her hair is a little longer now but it's barely there. I'm hoping she's not bald for her whole first year! Waah!

E was born with quite a bit of hair but by 3 months it was almost all gone. By 4.5 months it was growing back in and now he has quite a bit and its noticeably thickening and growing in all the time!

@chopsuey119: love her bangs!
@oliviaoblivia: omg that pigtail pic if her is sooo cute!
@photojane: I can't imagine anyone mistaking Sadie for a boy! She has the cutest head for headbands and rocks them sooo well!!! Has she started losing hair? K has been losing hair all over the place ( just like mama) for the past few weeks. I hear it takes a few months to get new hair in.

It didn't start growing until 13-14 months. He still doesn't have ton, but it's getting much better.

About a year. She was bald, then had a mohawk. Then it finally filled in. I miss her mohawk though

L is 3 months and has longish (like...3-4 inches?), almost shaggy, but still super thin hair. I really want it to fill in! I don't know how to fix it anymore; I just let it be.

Lo's hair has been growing alot in the front, but not as much in the back. so shes definitely rocking a kate gosselin look! hah but i was able to start putting her hair (in the front) into ponytails and pigtails since about 5.5 months i think.

R had hair when she was born, not a ton. She lost a good bit, but it is starting to grow again. I would say it was about 10 weeks, but it is still really thin and I can't do a hair clip. Only headbands still.

lol he is growing hair lots on top, but has practically no hair on the side. He has a stripe of no hair on the back and then this "soul patch" of hair on the bottom of his neck. It's so bizarre.

Her hair really started to thicken up and get longer between 8 and 9 month old. For reference:
This is 6, 8, 10, 12 and 14 months old.
