At what age did your child first start a musical instrument ("official" lessons)? We have a piano and I can't wait to get her started! I'm thinking around 4 years old?

We are starting guitar lessons for LO when she turns 4. That's the age her teacher recommends.

DD started piano lessons at 4.5 years old.
She really enjoys it and I'm so amazed at how quickly she's learning! -
DS started learning the flutophone this year at school at 4.5. We get to see their holiday show tomorrow, so I'm curious to see what he has learned.

She was 4 when she started piano.

My sister started violin and piano around 3-4. My brother was the same, but cello and piano. They're 16 and 13 now, and are amazing musicians.
