With both DS and DD my cycle returned like clockwork 4 weeks after I stopped the post-partum bleeding. So for both, I had my cycle return by 8weeks PP. I always thought as I was BF that it would delay my cycle, but alas it didn't.
How about you, when did your cycle return after LO?

11 months and still not here (but also DS is up 6x/night and I've heard that a consistent long stretch of sleep is correlated with the return of AF)

It came back at 8.5 months PP; I'm ten months PP now and have only had two periods. I don't know how long the first cycle was as I don't know when things started happening, but the next cycle was 42 days (I usually have 35 day cycles). I'm currently 12 days into my next cycle so we'll see what this one does. I hope it's normal as we wouldn't mind LO #2 getting underway in the next few months!

I was nursing round the clock, too, so it wasn't from STTN.

I'm at 6 weeks pp (not breastfeeding), and nothing yet. But, yesterday I put a Nuva Ring in, so I'm hoping that'll regulate my system.

About 5 months PP and I was bummed because I heard of some people not getting it back until they weaned. I was still nursing 3x a night in addition to around the clock all day, so it was a bummer.

I'm not nursing, but my period came back at about 7 weeks. Then I went 2 months without a period and got my next one at the beginning of this month. But I am on the mini pill (bad reaction to estrogen) so that may have had something to do with it.

With DS1 - 16 months pp. With DS2 - 7 months pp. Both times it was right when they became interested in solids and began eating regularly.

I am still nursing and have no period at 13 months pp (as of tomorrow). It is lovely! With Ellie it came back much earlier, say 6 months pp?

4 months pp. I stopped BFing at 3 months. Andddd I got pregnant during that first cycle back.

at 11 months pp. X had started dropping nursing sessions, and I started decreasing pumping sessions around then. X didn't sleep through the night until he was 13 months or so, and I think the trade-off to not sleeping through the night was delayed start to my cycles resuming. The cycles are almost normal now, at 17 months pp.

About 2.5 months PP. Actually, it's kind of ironic, I got my period exactly 1 year to the date from the cycle I got pregnant.

Ugh. This scares me. I feel like there's so much going on I can't handle dealing with my period too!! Frankly, I kind if forgot it existed, lol. A is only 3 weeks so hopefully I have a lot more time ...

I pumped exclusively for just over a year. It took about 8 months PP for first AF and then cycle length varied somewhat until I stopped pumping.
