We have been offering LO 2 meals of solids a day but now I'm thinking maybe we started that too quickly based on what I'm seeing in her diaper. She's 5.5 months and we started on 2 meals after just a week of solids because she really seemed to enjoy the food.
When did you start offering your LO 2 meals of solids a day?

I think we started around 7 months. (We started 1 meal/day at 6 months). We actually still only do 2 proper meals per day at 10 months. I really need to add the 3rd meal in, but it's so hard to fit it all into our schedule. (She's an absurdly slow eater!)

@skibobrown: I know what you mean about slow eating! LO used to be sooo slow. It would take an hour for her to finish eating, and it would just kill me!
LO started 2 meals around 6.5 months, but they were very small "meals".

I'm curious, what do you see in her diaper? We started DS on solids a week ago and he just pooped today and it was the first time I had to deal with the peanut-butter-y poop!! We cloth diaper, so it was nasty having to deal with it. >_<

@cranberryapple: it looks like a pebble about the size of a quarter and its got the consistency of soft clay. The first week we did solids it was more peanut buttery and softer. I wonder if she is constipated from too much solids?

We started 2 small "meals" of cereal a day around 5.5 months. He would eat maybe about 2 table spoons of cereal at each meal. There was a time when he didn't poop for 5 days and I freaked out. But after talking with my SIL, I fed him some sweet potato and he totally pooped the next day and has pooped regularly since.
