We're still using the snap and go with the car seat at almost 5 months, but have the city mini gt for when he's ready to stroll without the car seat. I just don't really know if/when he'll be ready.
When did you transition into the real chair of your stroller?

My gut started in the city mini at 3 and a half months. He is very tall though, and had amazing head control.

charlie switched to the city mini shortly after 6 months. olive switched when she was closer to 7 months.

I'm nervous to switch even though Colin has awesome head control, mostly cuz I'm afraid he won't nap in there without the car seat.

right at 6 months although he still had trouble holding himself up. Much better now at nearly 8 months.

4-5 months. If she's awake, I'll transfer her to the big girl chair. If she sleeping, I'll take out the big girl chair and clip in the carseat.

around 3 1/2- 4 months, he loved the stroller much better then! we still had it laid back quite a bit, as he couldn't hold himself up that well.

I haven't tried him out of laziness but doc said ok at 4 months and he's 5 months now.
