I think we gave LO1 a pillow at 17 months because she had a hip brace and needed it. I'm curious when others started letting their LO's sleep with a pillow. Did you use a full size one or toddler one?

Probably around the same, 17ish months I think? I decided to just give it a try one night and he's loved it ever since! It's kind of a half a pillow, so perfect for a little head. When he gets a big boy bed we will give him a regular sized pillow.

We just gave her a pillow at 19 months because she has been battling a monster cold and I wanted to keep her head elevated. She loves it!

DD has a couple stuffed animals in her crib that she sometimes uses as pillows during naps, but she rarely sleeps on one at night. Once I see her using one more often, I'll get her a real pillow, but probably not until then. She's 18 mo right now.

Probably at 23 months but she doesn't use it. It's just a little toddler one.

21 months. Had a vacation where he slept in a really uncomfortable pack n okay so gave one to him then and it stuck.

My guy is young for a pillow, but he kept grabbing this stuffed broccoli from ikea off of a shelf and curling up with it in his crib. He'd wake up from a nap, grab his broccoli, and go back to sleep. Soooo at 12.5 months or so, I just stuck the broccoli in his crib and now he uses the top part for his head and snuggles with the rest. I don't know if it's the same as giving him a pillow, but it functions that way and he seems to like it.

Toddler pillow at 18 months. Regular pillow at 29 months, when we switched her to a twin bed.

Not until just a few weeks ago at almost 4.5! I was having a hard time finding a suitable kid pillow, so I finally just gave up and gave him a pillow we already have. He only uses it about half of the time though.

He got a bedding set for his 2nd birthday which he then got to use. He often sleeps without the pillow and nearly always without the blanket though.

We gave him a toddler one right around 22-23 months, it seemed to helped him stay at one end of the crib instead of around and around the whole thing.

Sometime around 18 months! He didn't quite get it at first but now he pretty much stays on it all night.

LIke 21-22 months? Whenever we converted his crib to a toddler bed...I'm pretty sure it was right before he turned 2. It's a toddler pillow that I think I got from IKEA, and he loves it so much.

Toddler pillow around 15 months and regular pillow at 26 months.

12 months? Maybe a lil sooner? It's a regular pillow, but it's a feather down one.

Around 18 months I introduced a thin mock pillow to try and encourage him to learn to sleep in one direction which is hit and miss. It's the same "foot print" as a pillow but only maybe an inch thick if that.
We moved this same pillow to the big boy bed when he moved over last week at 23 months old and he still seems to spin around in his sleep haha so I won't introduce a full pillow for a while I don't think.

Ha! I'm sure this is gross but I still sleep with the pillow I had as a toddler. It's feather. Every few years I have it cleaned and re stuffed in a new case. It's like 1/3 stuffed. I love it.
