DD started using a pillow at around 18 months.

I think it was around 14 months when I gave DS my baby pillow and then searched high and low for a latex foam toddler sized pillow with no luck. I finally gave him a full sized pillow probably around 16 months.

DD started using one at about 18 months as well, but she didn't move too much while she slept. DS, however, likes to sleep on his belly and moves around so much that I think it will be a long time before he gets a pillow.

Thanks for asking this i was wondering! LO is 15 months and has been fine without one. I think i will wait as long as i can...
