DS1 started on sweet potato puree at 5.5 months after us waiting as long as possible!
DS2 is 5 months as of yesterday and seems to be on the same readiness level... I can't believe we're going to be starting solids so soon!!!

LO1 started around 5 months, and LO2 started at 6 months. I was a little more worried to start with LO2 because of food allergies.

We started DS right at 6 months. He wasn't super interested for at least the first 4-6 weeks and was super picky. At 9.5 months now he eats three meals almost every day. He will eat pretty much whatever we give him.

4.5 months with both kids. It's so funny to me how differently it's going! DS loved solids and would open his mouth like a baby bird for me to feed him. DD loves solids too but she will not just sit back and eat... she has to grab the plate and spoon and get herself good and covered in dinner

6 months for DD. I think we are starting DS in a few days (he'll be just shy of five months).

DS started around 6 months? Hope DD will take to solids like DS did. He was a champion eater and still is!

Gave him things to hold and gum starting a week or so before 6 months. But we never really did purées, and blw and nursing ensured he wasn't really eating a lot of solids until much later.

we gave LO her first taste of solids at like 4.5 months. But didn't consistently offer until about 5.5 months.

She was about 5 months. I felt like she was super ready but looking back we could have waited.

DS: 7 months due to us traveling the two months prior.
DD: I waited until she started putting food in her mouth by herself which was around 7.5 months.
Both kids were on family dinners and daycare lunch etc. by 9 months, so they learned really quickly and have rather big palates.

We did BLW starting around 6.5 months. It was closer to 8 months when she really started eating and I was comfortable enough with letting daycare feed her.
