D1 is 2.5 years old and still takes one nap per day at daycare. However, on the weekends at home, sometimes she'll just stay in her bed and play by herself for the duration of her naptime (approx 1.5-2 hours) but as soon as we're in the car, she'll conk out.
I'm just curious when your toddler stopped napping altogether.

My LO will be 4 in April and although he doesn't nap at daycare, he still easily naps on the weekends at home. I'm curious to see what others say because I've been wondering when he will stop entirely.

100%? At age 5 when I said no more naps! He was falling asleep at DCP at 230 and being woken up at 3 and then he was up until 10pm! So now he never naps and he goes to sleep at 7pm much better!!
Backing up a little at age 3 when he moved into a big bed his naps slowed down a lot! They were hit or miss - he would still nap at school but never on the weekends!
DD is almost 3 and she has all of a sudden stopped napping completely..... I really hope this is a phase!!!

My 19 month old has refused her nap for the past 2 days. I'm praying this is just a blip and not the end of naps as we know them!

20 months? I dont know if its a phase, but its been like 2.5 months and she very, very rarely naps. Like once every 2 weeks.

We are at age 3 and he naps almost every day, but does skips a day here and there. I don't want to think about this.

28 months.
Every once in a while (if she's really tired) she'll car nap if we're on the road between 2-4pm though.

I wonder this too! My almost 2yo naps once a day, for about 2 hours. I'm gonna be so distraught when she drops this nap.
I've been asking friends and it seems like answers are all over the place. Some kids stopped napping around 2.5yo, while others are still napping at age 4.

Oldest is almost 5 and still naps only b/c his preschool does naps still. He is okay without naps now though so sometimes on the weekends when we're out and about we'll skip it. He falls asleep faster too at night.

She's 3 and still naps most every day. Every once in awhile she'll just play on her bed instead for the duration of her nap, but for the most part she'll still take a 1.5 hour nap in the afternoon.

Shortly before he turned 4 because he stopped napping at school. They get a 45 min naptime, but he doesn't nap there.
Sometimes he passes out in the stroller and if he's really really tired he might nap at home, but it's rare.

DD pretty much stopped napping the summer before kindergarten, but in her kindergarten class they had "rest time" and she would definitely fall asleep. DS is 2 and still takes a 1.5-2 hr nap every day.

ugh, my DS is 2 months shy of 3 years old and refuses to nap at home. His teachers at school say he naps and the chart says he naps from 1.5-2 hours when he is there....he just does not want to nap at home.

My 6 year old napped til around 5 yo. She's a great sleeper overall. My 2.5 yo is still napping regularly and I can't imagine her dropping it anytime soon.

@Rubies: sigh. We just had a week where DS started fighting his nap. So I told him to play quietly in his room and lie down on his own if he felt tired. (Which actually worked, he still napped, just later than usual). Still, so stressful. I neeeeed him to nap, especially with baby here.

My son is three and he still naps every day. he doesn't have the best/longest night sleep, so that factors into it.
I think he'll probably also nap when he goes to preschool next year, the program ends at 1:45, and I am sure he'll at least nap for an hour when he comes home.

with baby #2 to take care of, its harder to enforce naps with his older brother. At least your little one stayed in his room and listened! Yesterday I told DS to stay in his bed (which he didn't listen to) but he actually stayed in his room and played for a bit. But after about 1 hour of trying to get him to nap with multiple times of him coming out of his room, i just gave up...now i'm thinking i need to use a lock to enforce at least some sort of quiet play time.

Ugh, my LO is 20 months old and she has NOT been napping well for the past two weeks. It seems that if I want her to nap I have to really, really wear her out in the morning. Unfortunately, this is difficult to do with all the snow we've been having. Typically I have to get her out - to the park or the children's museum, etc. - to really tire her out.

around 18 months he would skip naps a few days, by 2 it was most days.
I try to enforce naps on the weekends but, like you, sometimes it's just 'quiet play time' in the crib.
