For me, it's when I'm in the car driving. I've had to call myself to leave a message so I don't forget about the idea.

Definitely while exercising, which sucks because I have no way of writing it down while doing my routine lol!

That place right between awake and sleep, when I'm too comfy and not nearly awake enough to write it down/remember it...I keep my phone by my bed, though, and try to text it to myself.
