We do it after breakfast for the toddler! She doesn't always wear a bib so it prevents some stains on her clothes....

After breakfast, my son is generally neat, but he does put too much on the spoon at times.

Usually right when she gets up. Normally, she's a little damp and needs it.
cantaloupe / 6017 posts
usually after her morning nap. If she gets particularly messy at breakfast, or we are going somewhere (either before or immediately after nap) I'll change her after breakfast.

Not until we go somewhere. If we are staying home, I'll just keep her in PJs

Weekday: right as he gets up, getting ready for school/daycare
Weekend: after breakfast, he usually poops between breakfast and a little play

Usually around 10am after breakfast and a bit of playing.

Whenever she decides to pee/poop all over them during a diaper change or when I drop food on her while BFing. I'm terrible.

Weekdays: first thing in the morning.
If they're not leaving the house: uhh... at their bath time before bed??
We spend a LOT of time in PJs!!

DD1 is first thing. She changes herself before leaving her room in the morning.
DD2, whenever I feel like it lately since she's just a baby and we're home a lot during this freezing weather!

@mrs. wagon: haha, we're the same! Xander stays in pjs all day on the weekends (and sometimes during the week, haha)!

@Zbug: Same.
LO is 2 months and we're in the middle of like, the 20th day of temps below zero, so we don't go anywhere or see anyone...

At the same time as her first diaper change. I try to minimize the number of times I have to wrangle her in and out of clothes even if it means she goes to daycare slightly grubby from breakfast.

On a work day its after breakfast right before we head out of the door for the day, on weekends it's always after breakfast, but might not happen at all if we're staying home all day! Jammie days are the best!
honeydew / 7283 posts
I used to wait until after her first nap (about 11a) but now that she's taking one nap I'm doing it right after breakfast.
If I'm working the weekend DH probably keeps her in PJs all weekend

Weekday: before daycare (or if she sleeps in we send clothes and they change her.)
Weekend: after breakfast

After her first nap. She's usually only up 1.5-2 hours before her morning nap and I feel bad ripping her out of her warm jammies right after she wakes up haha

Whenever he wakes up for the day, I get him and change his diaper/clothes, feed him breakfast and then we go to work.

If DH is watching her, she will usually stay in her PJs all day. If I am watching her, I try to change her after breakfast. I feel bad leaving her in PJs at times when she has a lot of outfits gifted to her that she has hardly worn!

Either after first nap or sometimes not at all. If we aren't going anywhere and she hasn't spit up, peed, or pooped on it I don't bother. We keep it casual around here.

After his first nap, unless his sleeves are full of berries or something from his breakfast, in which case after breakfast and before his first nap.
GOLD / wonderful pea / 17697 posts
If we're not going anywhere and he doesn't wake up damp I'll wait until after a nap. Except for lately, when it's been so cold...the main part of our apartment doesn't hold heat well and he won't keep socks on so I've been keeping him in footed PJs at home.
